Worcester is the 114th most populous city in the United States and the second most populous city in the state of Massachusetts. Providence is situated forty miles north-northwest of Worcester, fifty miles east of Springfield, and forty miles west-northwest of Boston. Worcester County Historical Seat is situated in the central region of Massachusetts.

EcoTarium

The EcoTarium is a Worcester, Massachusetts-based scientific and nature museum. The museum, formerly referred to as the New England Science Center, is home to a number of traveling and permanent exhibits, the Alden Planetarium, a narrow-gauge train powered by a scale replica of a steam engine from the 1860s, and an assortment of wildlife.

Green Hill Park

Green Hill Park in Worcester, Massachusetts, is a sizable public area. Parking on an area of over 480 acres, it is the largest in the city. The location accommodates the Massachusetts Vietnam Veterans' Memorial, a structure dedicated to Massachusetts veterans who served in the Vietnam War. The dedication of the Memorial occurred in June 2002.
