The Historic city of Burlington is a city held along the shores of Lake Champlain in the Green Mountain state. While hiking on the region of the lake, the cool, calm breeze met my face, and I could see the sight of clear water and sparkling sand beneath. Within the city, arts and business thrive. Not to mention, the local ice cream flavor that remained the same until today has been my long-time favorite. Also, there are magnificent spots that I gravitate towards in this city. I am revisiting these wonders, so enjoy this trip with me.

As a child, I have always enjoyed the joy of scientific discoveries and wondering about the intricacies of nature. The ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain is a museum that resonates with science and nature. Its displays contain a wide variety of species from the animal kingdom. Aside from the land and sea-dwelling animals, the museum also holds the Northfields Saving Banks 3D Theater as well as major traveling exhibitions. It is a great place to visit with your children, friends, or family. Aside from these fun activities, the museum highlights care for Lake Champlain. It is a notable cause that we all should adhere to - caring for the natural creations.
ENJOY THE BUSTLE AND WALK UNDERNEATH THE LIGHTS AT CHURCH STREET MARKETPLACE
In the heart of downtown Burlington, there lies the pedestrian mall, which I frequent bearing the name Church Street Marketplace. From Burlington’s waterfront, lodging, and international airport - you can arrive at the iconic and award-winning mall in a short time. It hosts exciting events and festivals and has specialty shops, restaurants, vendors, and services ranging in numbers. Luminous lights decorate trees during Christmas. It is a ceremony I found captivating while snowflakes fall and snow gathers on my path. It is not simply buying goods that reward the journey at the pedestrian mall but the sight it beholds, especially in the afternoon and night.
LEARN ABOUT CULTURE AND ANTHROPOLOGY AT THE FLEMING MUSEUM OF ART
For me, a place is lackluster if acknowledgment, appreciation, and enthusiasm for art, culture, and identity are dwindling. Previously known as the Robert Hull Fleming Museum, the Fleming Museum stands as a cultural center of immense value for the community. African, American, Ancient Art and Archaeology, Asian, Europe, Native American, Oceanic, and Pre-Columbian collections comprise the Fleming Museum. It only became an art museum after a shift in the focus of the University of Vermont in the 1950s. Photographs and artworks depicting how nature suffered in the hands of humans have at the museum. Therefore, aside from culture and anthropology, through art, we can also all learn about the environmental crisis.
SUMMARY
Burlington is indeed flowing with so many good things that are waiting to be explored and be learned about. However, for good things to last, they must be well taken care of so other generations can enjoy them too. It is a city that may appear as a wee town, but it is home to thousands of good things and a loving community. It can be home to you too.
